                                   Emergency and Ranger Services Officer
(3 Year Full Time Contract Position)

The duties are diverse and include co-ordinating and supporting fire and emergency services, carrying out Ranger duties (inspections and patrols) for the Carnamah Shire and some other Shires in the region as required; and the enforcement of legislation and policies.  The position calls for a highly motivated individual with excellent time management and organisational skills to work with and complement a small experienced team dedicated to providing services to the community.  Candidates with a background in fire and emergency management, the ability to carry out Ranger duties and be able to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills will be highly regarded.

The base salary for this position will range from between $50,000 and $56,000 with a range of generous benefits also applying including superannuation, uniform allowance and subsidised housing if required.  Some overtime with associated penalty rates will also be available.
